Angela & Ty’s Engagement Teaser
Angela and Ty’s engagement session at Boulder with my dear colleague and my mentor, Travis Broxton. As many people knows, Angela is event coordinator at Ritz Carlton, Denver and it is such a honor to be their choice for October 10, 2010 (10/10/10) wedding celebration at the Ritz Carlton at Bachelor Gulch.
When we first talked about Life in Motion engagement session, which focuses on capturing their love and relationship through their favorite activity at their favorite location, Angela and Ty told us that their new cabin in near Boulder. So we started off the engagement session there. And the cabin was just wonderful retreat place, sits on the hill of mountain with the views to match. Wood burning fireplace heated up the tea pot and warms the place. They have two wonderful dogs. As they lay on the floor, Angela and Ty offered us a warm cup of tea. It was just perfect!
After the tea, we started our session around the cabin. As Travis putting his magic on Angela and Ty for romantic poses, I took infrared photograph of them by the side of rock face.
The weather was just awesome. One second we had a beautiful sunlight and the next we had a little furry of snow. Through it all, it added a drama to the images and love that they share.

Here is the one that I love at the front door of their cabin.
After a small break, we set to do something out of movie poster. With Ax on Angela’s shoulder and chain saw on Ty, we created this image.
After, dress change for Angela, we went down to Boulder, their favorite city, with cool vibe. We had some cool photos and had a dinner at Walnut Brewery. Amazing couple with great heart and passion for music and life! Thank you so much for the wonderful time and there are more pictures to come with slideshow to follow soon.
Michelle & Shannon Engagement
Michelle & Shannon is tying the knot on June 20th this year at Beaver Creek Chapel and Splendido at the Chateau at Beaver Creek. We planned the engagement session last fall, but Shannon had a little injury so we postponed to this year. After couple of trials for different date (due to Colorado’s spring weather), we just had an awesome engagement session on April 7th.
After we stopped by de ma fille, the best wedding dress shop, our Life in Motion engagement session started at Broadmoor Hotel where they had several great memories as Co Springs natives. Michelle even went to HS Prom there. We walked around Broadmoor and they were just so cool. Played a little bit of ‘James Bond’ impression was also great!

After the Broadmoor, we headed to Garden of Gods Park. They changed to casual clothing and we just had so much fun. Thanks guys and Joyce and I are looking forward to your wedding in June!!!

Ashley & Nick Engagement
Ashley and Nick is getting married this June. Last Saturday we had a pleasure to take photographs with them at MCA and surrounding areas. It was little bit windy day and it really add the drama to the images as Ashley’s thin blond hair dancing with the wind as storm cloud was moving in.
It was so much fun to photograph Ashley and Nick. They are wonderful couple. Easy going and ready to have fun. Also, Joyce was so happy to get out of the house and get back into the groove. Believe or not, it’s already been two month since Elise was born. Thanks guys!

Lauren & Aaron’s Engagement in Breckenridge
The last couple of months have been very busy for Joyce and I - Not only have we traveled everywhere, but we also had several awesome photography sessions and weddings. Over the next couple of weeks, I am going through our files and posting many images and stories to catch all of you up on what we have been working on these past couple of months.
To start it off, I am posting some of the coolest (no pun intended) images from Lauren & Aaron’s engagement session in Breckenridge, Colorado.
Lauren & Aaron’s engagement session started at their house in Breckenridge. The powdery snow came down throughout the session and it really added an extra layer to the photos.
Our engagement sessions are called “Life in Motion” and we focus on the couples relationship and their real emotions through activities. Couples pick the location and activity and Joyce and I join in with our cameras. It is an awesome way to get to know our clients, who they are and what they like – not to mention, Joyce and I have a great time too!
So, we asked Lauren and Aaron what they liked to do and they told us how they liked to hang out in Breckenridge, and specifically a place called Nick’s. They like to play pinball games and Lauren is an expert at Ms. Pacman. So, that’s what we did!
When the horse carriage came by, it was a perfect moment to kiss…
Afterwards, Lauren’s parents invited us to dinner at Relish! After a wonderful dinner, Lauren’s dad assisted Joyce in taking this photo - Thank you and great job!
