I know I have not been blogging for a few weeks since I got blessed to photograph so many projects throughout the time. I am going to blog one session at a time and one day at a time. During past three weeks, I had one pregnancy session with one of my beautiful past bride, and amazing wedding at Denver’s Ritz Carlton, a great engagement sessions (in fact four of them), mother’s day at the Castle Pines, attended amazing seminar for David Beckstead – “Frame Design: A Shoot with Beckstead Workshop” and another wedding on last Friday. Whew!

Michelle Gillette needed to update her headshot. I was honored to be asked to photograph her. She owns ‘Dramatic Events‘, premiere wedding and special event planning. I have known her for several years and we had several weddings that are just spectacular. Also, for a photo session, she is going to use Carissa Beauty, one of the best and premiere makeup artist in Denver. She also want to join in the photo session.

We started our session at Westin Downtown lobby and also photographed the catering & special event manager, Deseri Martinez. Without further ado, I would like to show you the photographs from the session. First a few images are very standard and we did more of a fashion/artistic photos.

Now more into Fashion session…

Finally, one picture with behind the scene is here. Near the end of the session, wind was blowing pretty hard, While I was taking picture of Michelle, Carissa was holding the light on the light stand and it almost blow them over.

I know so many peole were asking more pictures of Elise. So I worked on this image from Feb. which I showed at the Heart of American PPA convention this week.

We had amazing time at our studio and out in central park with the Kessler family. Dr. Gina and Brett Kessler own and operate, Town Center Dentistry at Stapleton and I have had the honor to know them for over 5 years. Both of them are nationally known for orthodontics, aesthetic, functional and reconstructive dentistry and truly works their magic.

Sydney, the youngest daughter, has grown so much and they just celebrated her 2nd birthday. So the entire family joined us in our studio for the relationship portrait and then we headed out to central park for the”Life in Motion” session.

“Life in Motion” session is truly a great way to capture the spirit of children. When they enjoy the activities that they like, it really brings the joy and fun to the photographs. The activities can be many things: playing in the swings, climb on rocks, sliding down a jungle gym, rolling down hills, and even swimming in a lake. Truly capturing the emotion and relationship between parents and their children, between siblings and the entire family, is our primary focus of the photos. At the end, it’s truly captures their lives and spirit and it’s fun for everyone.
