Wow, what a surprise! WE are so blessed to having a wonderful clients. I just found out there are reviews on wedding channel by our clients. You can view them by follow this link.
When we first started our business in Denver on 2003, we have used the Knot and the Wedding channel to spread the words and our wedding photography services. But from 2007, we have been focus more on our relationship marketing with our clients & vendors. Since then, we have moved from our house to three different business locations. And we will soon announce our new location in RiNo neighborhood (Denver Downtown River North). Our new location will feature 1800 sqft of great studio space. Can’t wait to show more in the future post.

We absolutely loved Joe and Joyce!! They are so friendly and really easy to get along with. They really have an eye for great shots! The photographs turned out better then we ever could have imagined!! Joe and Joyce are amazing!! Our guests all loved our photographers too, which is a plus! I highly recommend contacting Studio JK for your photography needs! You will not be disappointed!!

We were aprehensive to use Studio JK at first because they were much more than we had budgeted for in a photgrapher. After meeting with Joe (lead photographer) and his wife Joyce and their assistant photographer, Sarah, there was no way we could decline. Studio JK offers more than just a photography service. They offer an experience. We purchsed a mid-range package from them that came with an entire list of inclusions. One of these was an engagement (or life in motion) photo shoot. Joe and Joyce spent 7+ hours with my fiance and I taking our lifestyle photos. We had multiple locations, outfit changes, etc. Their creativity, honesty, and compassion in their photo shoot that was incredible! On our wedding they, they were there to capture every detail. Between the three of them, nothing was left unattended. They were patient, professional, and never once felt like they were invading our private moments – they felt like they were a part of our moments. We haven’t gotten our photos back yet as our wedding was only 3 weeks ago, but I know based on our engagement shoot they will be perfect. If you are hesitant on the cost of this top quality photography team, don’t be. They are worth every dollar spent, and then some!

Joe and Joyce are a true pleasure to work with and genuinely love what they do. They shot both our wedding in Santorini, Greece, as well as our wedding reception in the Denver area. What we appreciate most about these two is the combination of creative genius and effort that accompanies each photo shoot. The resulting photos are a beautiful mix of their unique style coupled with the “magic” they are able to find in any given moment. The pictures we have are nothing short of breathtaking. They are everything I could have dreamed of and so much more. I am pleased to recommend them without hesitation or reservation.

I know I have not been blogging for a few weeks since I got blessed to photograph so many projects throughout the time. I am going to blog one session at a time and one day at a time. During past three weeks, I had one pregnancy session with one of my beautiful past bride, and amazing wedding at Denver’s Ritz Carlton, a great engagement sessions (in fact four of them), mother’s day at the Castle Pines, attended amazing seminar for David Beckstead – “Frame Design: A Shoot with Beckstead Workshop” and another wedding on last Friday. Whew!
Michelle Gillette needed to update her headshot. I was honored to be asked to photograph her. She owns ‘Dramatic Events‘, premiere wedding and special event planning. I have known her for several years and we had several weddings that are just spectacular. Also, for a photo session, she is going to use Carissa Beauty, one of the best and premiere makeup artist in Denver. She also want to join in the photo session.
We started our session at Westin Downtown lobby and also photographed the catering & special event manager, Deseri Martinez. Without further ado, I would like to show you the photographs from the session. First a few images are very standard and we did more of a fashion/artistic photos.

Finally, one picture with behind the scene is here. Near the end of the session, wind was blowing pretty hard, While I was taking picture of Michelle, Carissa was holding the light on the light stand and it almost blow them over.

We had amazing time at our studio and out in central park with the Kessler family. Dr. Gina and Brett Kessler own and operate, Town Center Dentistry at Stapleton and I have had the honor to know them for over 5 years. Both of them are nationally known for orthodontics, aesthetic, functional and reconstructive dentistry and truly works their magic.
Sydney, the youngest daughter, has grown so much and they just celebrated her 2nd birthday. So the entire family joined us in our studio for the relationship portrait and then we headed out to central park for the”Life in Motion” session.
“Life in Motion” session is truly a great way to capture the spirit of children. When they enjoy the activities that they like, it really brings the joy and fun to the photographs. The activities can be many things: playing in the swings, climb on rocks, sliding down a jungle gym, rolling down hills, and even swimming in a lake. Truly capturing the emotion and relationship between parents and their children, between siblings and the entire family, is our primary focus of the photos. At the end, it’s truly captures their lives and spirit and it’s fun for everyone.
