Lauren & Aaron’s Engagement in Breckenridge

The last couple of months have been very busy for Joyce and I - Not only have we traveled everywhere, but we also had several awesome photography sessions and weddings. Over the next couple of weeks, I am going through our files and posting many images and stories to catch all of you up on what we have been working on these past couple of months.

To start it off, I am posting some of the coolest (no pun intended) images from Lauren & Aaron’s engagement session in Breckenridge, Colorado.

Lauren & Aaron

Lauren & Aaron’s engagement session started at their house in Breckenridge. The powdery snow came down throughout the session and it really added an extra layer to the photos.

Our engagement sessions are called “Life in Motion” and we focus on the couples relationship and their real emotions through activities. Couples pick the location and activity and Joyce and I join in with our cameras. It is an awesome way to get to know our clients, who they are and what they like – not to mention, Joyce and I have a great time too!

So, we asked Lauren and Aaron what they liked to do and they told us how they liked to hang out in Breckenridge, and specifically a place called Nick’s.  They like to play pinball games and Lauren is an expert at Ms. Pacman. So, that’s what we did!

Afterwards, Lauren’s parents invited us to dinner at Relish! After a wonderful dinner, Lauren’s dad assisted Joyce in taking this photo - Thank you and great job!

Joe and Joyce,
Thank you so much for such a fabulous and memorable experience for our engagement pictures. We look at them everyday with disbelief at how absolutely fantastic they are. They will be cherished for a lifetime! We are so excited to see the wedding photos.

Joe and Joyce,
We absolutely loved all the pictures and the sheer experience of spending the evening with you. It was truly an unforgettable day. As we already reflect on how fast the wedding day will pass, we treasure these additional special memories. Thank you so much. Sorry we had to miss the “showing”. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Can’t wait to see the wedding photos!

Happy New Year! 2008!

The holidays have just been crazy-busy and we have had a lot of church events going on. We feel behind in our blog posts, and really wanted to catch you up on some exciting news!  We are thankful to our God for helping us through 2007, and for leading us into a bright 2008!

One of the exciting things happening, is last year we had the honor to photographed the last wedding that Linda Bluhm from Legacy Events planned as a wedding planner. As all of you probably know, Linda was one of the most amazing wedding planners in the industry and we are just honored that she picked up one of our images for her new advertisement for Lendable Linens (considering she probably has a ton of wedding images to select from throughout the years)!

Below is the advertisement that Lendable Linens will be placing in the next issue of Confetti magazine.

Being recognized by the talented professionals in the industry is just a great feeling!

We’re Featured in the Knot Again!

The new issue of The Knot Colorado Real Wedding is out and we’re on it again!

The wedding of Stacey and Chad in Vail last year is featured as one of only nine Colorado weddings. The Knot did a good job summarizing the nice details from their wedding and I’d love to share some of the romantic pictures of Stacey and Chad as well as the article. The wedding was very intimate with about 50 of their closest friends and family. Stacey has impeccable taste and everything was so beautiful. (And they choose my favorite colors too: Tiffany blue and chocholate!) What a great taste!!!

Here are the sweeties, Stacey & Chad.

Jennifer & Brett’s Wedding at the Oxford Hotel

We just had a wonderful wedding for Jennifer and Brett this weekend at the historic The Oxford Hotel.  Jenny and Brett are such a cute couple and we had such a blast with them and their gangs! It is said that your true colors shine through in times of stress and adversity. From gothic woods, to tattoos at the reception, you both shone so bright!

It was truly a joy to bear witness to such honest love for each other and those around you.

A lot of blessings to you both for the new journey together!

Such a beautiful bride, Jenny. You are radiant!

Thank you Joe & Joyce and Joyce’s brother for all your hard work! You are the best photographers I’ve ever seen, as well as the most fun to work with! Can’t wait to see all the pics! Especially since I barely remember the ceremony – it all happened so fast! Good thing you were there to record it for posterity!

Naples Wedding – Rebecca & Jessy

Past few days were just amazing. Joyce and I traveled down to Tampa to meet up with Phillip Lloyd, a great photographer and friend. We went down to Naples Grande Beach Resort.

I am sitting down in the Tampa Airport terminal and waiting for Denver flight. It has been awesome trip to Naples and a great time with Phillip. Just want to post two images from the Rebecca and Jessy’s Day After session:
