2010These post will be two part posts since the workshop was held in three days with two different models and two locations. Here is the link to his workshop.
It was so inspirational. Composition has been very important to me from the very start of my career and it is the key part of our delivery. But strange enough that there are many photographers and workshops that does not put the emphasis on the composition. As a photographer, we have tentative to close in to our subject too much. It is important not to lose the elements surrounds the subject. David Beckstead puts like this:
Think of composing in reverse: find your subject, pull back, go wide and start deciding what you want to eliminate by slowly cropping in. – David Beckstead
The first model session was held in Villa Parker with beautiful model, Tiffany. Here are my pictures from the workshop.
The second day of Beckstead seminar will be posted tomorrow. Stay tuned.
